Rainy Weekend

Hello family. What a nice weekend for conference. It rained all day Saturday, which meant True didn't need to be out working and could stay inside and watch conference with us. It was great. I loved the talks and feeling the strength from the Brethren. My favorite quote was " Faith is not just a feeling, it is a decision". (I don't remember who said it.) It helped me realize I need to be doing more.

Anyway, we are all doing well. Liberty is as silly as ever. She runs around with a funny scowl/smile on her face laughing in a deep mischievious he he he he. It cracks me up. She loves the doll Grandma gave her for her birthday and if you haven't heard about it, it has a motion sensor in the eyes that makes the doll move and coo if you walk by. It is sort of freeky in the night if I forget to turn it off! Liberty thinks her name is "Biberty Bobbety Boo"  and here is the story behind it. She loves Cinderella and you all know the songs. Well, Kimber couldn't say her "L" for a while so called Liberty "Biberty" which Liberty connected to "Bibity Boppity Boo" and the rest you can guess. She just came in here and saw the picture of her at the top of this page and said "That's Biberty Bobbety Boo". It's all very cute.

Kimber loves to build "towers and temples" with her blocks. Someday I will get a picture of one before Liberty destroys it. She spends lots of time creating them and, to her credit, laughs when Liberty knocks  them over. I teach a few violin lessons durring the week and after the students leave, Kimber will come to me asking if she can have a lesson. I can't resist and get out the tiny violin (thanks to Alicia) and she tells me what we are supposed to do durring the lesson. First we "play a little": she puts the stand down as low as it will go and puts the Children's song book on it to "read" the music from. Then we "play a game": she puts the violin gently on the floor and tells me all the parts of it. Last we "draw some notes": we get a paper and crayon and I show her how to draw quarter notes. She doesn't really want me to show her how to play, but hey, I take what I can get.

True is as busy as ever with insurance and what his dad asks him to do. He still loves his guitar and told me that while I was gone to Mom and Dad's, he turned up his electric guitar so loud his ears hurt (he realized how unsmart this was after he was all done) and he had a great time rocking out. I don't let him do this when I'm at home so it was sort of a treat for him.

Anyway, we are all well and had a nice time listening to the Prophet. I love you all
