Weee Ooos

Hyrum has discovered vehicles that make loud sounds and have bright flashing lights. He spends his time in the car on the lookout for Weee Oooos and makes sure everyone in the car is aware of the presence of one. He and Derek like to chase each other around with the little match-box versions they have. I am reminded of Derek's fascination with sirened-cars when he was that age. It's so cute to watch Hyrum really learning to imagine and play now. It's also nice to see the other kids include him and think of him as one of them.
I hope everyone enjoyed sleeping in on Sunday as much as I did. 7:30, woopie!! Actually, it was such a wonderful Conference, and I feel so fed by all the talks that were given. I can't wait to get the Ensign in the mail in a month. The kids enjoyed having Crepes for breakfast and homemade pizza for dinner. Having them around and willing to watch and even pay attention to that many hours of Conference is such a blessing for me. Even Hyrum seemed to understand how special the day was on Sunday and was really well behaved(not so much on Saturday, but that's another story;)
