Book Club - Leadership & Self Deception

Both Mom and I have read ahead and really enjoyed this book.  It is full of good solid Gospel Princples for the Secular world.  I see many situations where I have not been as sensative to others as I should have been.  I am currently reading "A Patriots History of the United States".  It is a more objective look at what has happened Since Columbus discovered the Americas in 1492.  Much of what I learned about the History of our Country was presented in a particular perspective.  It is good to get a more objective viewpoint.  I have just finished the Civil War era and can better understand much of what happended.  I appreciate the visit we made to Fort Sumpter last summer in Charleston.  I am also more inpressed with what Abraham Lincoln faced and what he accomplished during his presidency.  He was truely the first statesman and President who delt with the issue of slavery by taking an opposing position when most would just push it aside or ignore it.  This country was truely founded by great, although imperfect, men.  I love this country and pray for our leaders to make good and wise decisions.
