Halloween Fun

We had lots of fun on Halloween. We made pumkin bread and took it to some of our neighbors instead of getting candy from them. Kimber was "Belle" and Liberty was "Cinderella". The dresses were from a friend and the girl's loved them. Kimber's had a picture of Belle on the front of the dress and she asked me to fix her hair just like Belle's. We didn't get a good picture of it, though. To top off the costumes, they both got to wear a little of Mommy's makeup. That sure was an adventure!

We had to hem the Cinderella dress about 4 inches so Liberty wouldn't step on it and we had to take out some darts in the back so that it would fit around her tummy. After all that, it fit pretty well and she looked adorable. She even left a bow in her hair!

Her favorite part was the "Glass Slippers" that we borrowed with the dress. I was surprised to see that they fit and Liberty insisted on wearing them all night, even though they kept falling off and such. It really was fun. Don't you just want to squish those chubby legs?

Kimber's favorite part of the Belle dress was that it was "spinney". She showed me how she could twirl and then posed for this next picture. Isn't she lovely? They had a good time dressing up and being princesses.
