Here is a picture of Mom and I after I got my gold medal at National FCCLA.  I already wrote a nice long blog about all of our adventures and when I went to put a picture with it I lost it, so now you get a picture first and the story is coming.  All you need to know is that we had a blast in the Sunshine State, or should I say Rainy State.

Girls Camp was awesome this year.  On top of the almost eight months time we put into planning it and balancing the levels of fun and spirituality, we had an amazing brand new camp site with something so revolutionary that it could rival the lunar landing (well almost)... Yes, beautiful, flushing toilets and hot showers to go around.  This may not seem like a very big deal, but for a girls camp it can make a world of difference.

Well, the play went well and I had a blast being a part of it.  My part wasn't really very big (I was a ghost), but I had a lot of fun learning about theatre and what all goes into it, all of that behind the scene stuff that goes on.  Now that it's done, I get to focus on finals for the end of the school year; chemistry is the daunting one.  I wish summer would just hurry up and get here!  Oh well, I will be finished at the end of next week then the real fun and frantic fundraising for FCCLA Nationals will begin in full force.
