Just wanted to let you know that we completed Little Britches, the story of Ralph Moody as a young boy in Colorado.  His stories reminded me a lot about Grandpa Brigham Hokanson, he was about the same age and the stories of his growing up are similar to Ralph.  I have pictures of Grandpa with knee high pants that I am sure he did not really like.  Grandpa Hokanson was born in Fort Bridger Wyoming on a homestead that was also very barren.  They had no water in the house and depended on a nearby spring for drinking water.  Ralph's father was a quiet and very wise man.

Jared, Mike Cornia and his two boys, Ben and John and I went deer hunting a week ago Saturday.  We left Firth around 5:15 AM headed for Sage Creek north of Mackay.  Jared and I rode together, along with Mikes son John.  At the base of the "hill", Mike left Jared and I to climb to the top from the South end while he and his sons drove farther up and would climb up from the East side.  It was perhaps 15 degrees when we started, but due to the steep climb we soon shed some of our sweat shirts.  Jared and I were near the top, about 9,000 feet elevation, when w

Hi everybody,  it is really fun to read all of your blogs and hearing about all of your fun or exciting lives.  This has been a busy but some what sad week for us here in the Riverview ward.  This last Thursday morning we heard that a sweet l3 year old girl in our ward died during the night.  Her dad had gone hunting the night before and was not home.  Her mother had to go down stairs and get her up for school, where she found her.  She had a seizure during the night, and passed away.  It has been heart breaking for our ward as well as all of their family

This Past Sunday Mom and I were released after nearly 5 years of Ward missionary service.  It has been a wonderful time meeting lots of Sisters and Elders.  There are some very special relationships that have been built with some converts and activated members. 

Hi, Happy Birthday Hayden. Wow, your one year old today. This year has gone so fast, it seems jsut a few short weeks ago that Ashley and I were on our way to California the day that you were born. I hope that you have a great day.

HI, every body;  can you believe that here it is another Sunday afternoon, again.  Even as I am living it and seeing the time go so fast, I am still always amazed at how fast it really does go.  Here we are at the very end of June already.  THis we is the fourth of July.  Then as soon as it is over the stores will have all of their  back to school suppies  out.  That is really something that I don't want to see right now.  Ashley and I are getting the last few things done for our trip to Florida.  Things like getting the Disney World tickets
