Jennie's big idea
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Thu, 06/12/2008 - 14:40I am interested in getting everyone's favorite recipes. I would like to get 4 or 5 from each family. Kids who are able to voice an opinion, I would love your favorites, too (that's you, Shaylee, Derek, and Charity!). I would also love to have some pictures from each family to put in it, especially pictures of the six Hokansons when they were little. How fun would that be? Anyway, if you have recipes and/or pics to send, I would love it! There have been a few recipe requests: John and Alicia's curry, Andrea's ranch dressing, Mom's Rhubarb crunch, etc
We're here!
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Tue, 06/10/2008 - 23:15BYU-Idaho finally let us out and we are here in the big world! It seems a little strange and dream-like at times (see the pictures of our house and you will understand). There is a long blog about it on our website with pics of the house, the cute Pierce girls and one handsome chef. I will be sending out an email with our new address and phone number. Love you all!
Hayden is Walking!
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Thu, 05/22/2008 - 08:10Well it seems that our little rug rat is now quickly growing up. He started walking yesterday! We got out the camera and took a few videos. Our camera doesn't really take the best videos, but here they are anyway.
We are so excited! It's amazing to see how they change and grow, it truly is a miracle.

We've made an update to our Family Blog, here a link to the post: http://www.craighokanson.com/blogs/node/138
It covers all the main things that we've done in the last few weeks. Also, here's a direct link to the video of Hayden Elephant Crawling.
Happy Birthday to Kimber!!!
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Thu, 05/15/2008 - 22:40Happy Birthday Kimber girl! We are thinking of you and love you lots!
Today Hayden got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Hokanson while Craig and I went to the temple. It was so wonderful, and the Rexburg temple is so beautiful. We came home and had some delicious cinnamon rolls together. They have to be the best recipie I've found for them. Soft, sweet and so gooey!
Short Walk
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Tue, 05/13/2008 - 22:32This evening we decided to go for a short walk after dinner. Just had to tell you all that we hadn't made it past the end of the drive and a bird pooped on us. It managed to hit all three of us in one shot. Gross. The walk was cut short due to high winds (reminds me of our Disneyland fireworks- also canceled due to wind). The grass is green and everything reminded me of the things I love about Idaho. It would be much easier to leave in February! I will miss the view out our back windows. *sigh*
New Server coming
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Mon, 05/12/2008 - 22:43While I was down at Mom and Dad's I requisitioned the use of Jared's old computer, the one that he had before he left on his mission. He had taken out the Hard Drive and placed it into their new computer. So, he wasn't using the old computer anymore. I plan on using it as my new hosting server for this site, and potentially my craighokanson.com domain as well.
Modern Technology reaches Firth, Kind of
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Sat, 05/10/2008 - 22:11So, for mothers day, Mom got a new webcam from some of us kids, and we gave it a test run tonight. It seems to have a bit of a delay and it's a little pixelated, but all in all, it's not too bad. We're excited to be able to see them while we talk. Perhaps a 'conference call' is in order some time soon.
Tutorial on adding pictures

New family site, the Hokanson Herald
Submitted by Craig and Jennie on Wed, 05/07/2008 - 19:04Alicia came up with a great idea, that of having a family website where we can all post blog entries and stay up to date with what's happenning in each other's lives. So, out of that idea, came the Hokanson Herald. I've spent the last few days working on this site, and configuring it how I want it. There are still some bugs and problems that I need to work out, but all in all, I think it will work for what we want. The name isn't set in stone, so let me know if you like it, or if you have any other suggestions.
